Bio: Mark Harvey Levine has had plays produced in New York, Los Angeles and many other states, as well as Canada.
At the moment he writes primarily short plays -- some as short as two minutes, but mostly ten minute plays.
A three time finalist of the National Ten-Minute Play Contest, he was honored to win the Alan Minieri Award from New York's 6th Annual Fifteen Minute Play Festival, and the Best Play Award at Guerrilla Theatre in Los Angeles.
His plays have been produced at the Actor's Theatre of Louisville, the George Street Playhouse in New Jersey, the London, Ontario Fringe Festival and City Theatre of Miami, FL.
Recent productions include "The Big Picture" at Malibu Stage Co., "Howard" at Doppelgang in NY, "Surprise" at the George Street Playhouse (NJ), "Passed Hordes" at Theatre Neo, "Superhero" at Little Fish Theatre, San Pedro, CA and "Scripted" at City Theatre in Miami, and "The Rental" at Brass Tacks in New York.
A short film of "Surprise" was made in 2002 and has played in festivals across the country.
"Combo Platter," an evening of his short plays, was produced last year at ZJU Theatre Group in North Hollywood, California.
A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University, Mark lives in Los Angeles.
