Bio: Turner was born in Albany N.Y. and attended the University of Texas. He premiered his first play in 1991 entitled "Rainstorm" on the Paul Robeson Theatre at the Arts Exchange in Atlanta, Georgia. An Afro American contemporary playwright, he grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He writes non-tradional roles and tries to make a statement that theatre is for all people and should be color blind. Deron Turner has another play out called "Madam Porno and the Agoraphobic" Which is also on the Storymania web site. He was born in 1967.
