Appeared in the 1942 version of The Great Big Doorstep at the Dock Street Theatre in Charleston, South Carolina while in the service during World War II. I played a cajun boy since I was born and raised in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. At the cast party, the character of the little girl, always in pigtails was presented to me as a young and beautiful girl! I was shocked to see her in this presentation all grown up and beautiful!
