A man hears a tapping from behind a huge rock and summons help to rescue the "victim" trapped by the boulder. Bedlam results as the professional "benefactors" arive... the law, civil aughorities, reporters, politicians and other assorted onlookers. Most of the characters in the play appear more interested in furthering their own ambitions than help9ng the trapped man. When the rock is finally moved, however, the man behind it has absolutely no interest in being rescued.
