Dramatized by Ruth Perry. Author(s):

There were three Wise Men who brought gifts to the King. But legend tells of another named Artaban who also saw the star. Artaban exchanges all his property for three great jewels to carry as a gift to the newborn King. On the way, he finds a dying man. If he delays, he can save the man's life but the three Wise Men will depart without him. What can he do? In the final scene, Artaban is discouraged but still seeks the King. The power and beauty of the conclusion make this play ideal for Christmas.
