Jason's Gift
Author(s):
Ev Miller
This poignant approach to the Nativity story will add to any holiday program. A Bethlehem inn run by Issac and his wife Sarah is filled with travelers who have come to pay taxes to King Herod. Helping them is their son Jason, who has always had a special interest and caring for the guests. But ever since the death of his first son, a bitter Isaac has taken it out on Jason. Though Sarah tries to help them, she is often unable to soften many of the emotional blows. But a day has come when the sensitive Jason feels something special will happen. A man whose wife is about to give birth seeks shelter, but there is no lodging anywhere. Through Jason's insistence, Isaac allows the couple to stay in their barn where one miracle leads to another. The birth of a baby brings Isaac and Jason together.
