The classic "grass is always greener" story of two mice—Jessica Lorraine, the town mouse, and Jessie Lee, the country mouse—comes to life in this lively musical adaptation. Jessie and Jessica have been writing to each other for years and are excited to finally meet when Jessica makes her first trip to the country. The fun begins when she is picked up by Jessie's family on a bicycle built for five. During her visit, Jessica has a series of misadventures as she is introduced to new foods, chores and square dancing. Then Jessie Lee visits Jessica in the city, where she experiences the most harrowing drive in a Model-T to Jessica's home. There, Jessie is introduced to haute cuisine and the fundamentals of ballet. Through their experiences, Jessie and Jessica each realize that they like the life they already have.
