Hallowe'en 1949. Bela Lugosi is a junkie, trying to get drugs from Freddy, a dope dealer obsessed with horror flicks, especially "the Count." Super-fan Freddy forces Bela to play out scenes from old movies until Bela concludes that Freddy is a murderer and he is his next victim.
