Child Of Air
Author(s):
Carolyn Lane
When the City Council decides to thin out the duck population in the local pond, three elderly persons, two gently reared sisters and a retired gentleman make a sincere but misguided effort to save their pets, the ducks, from a grisly fate, by attempting to remove them to another pond. Frustrated and ridiculed by the stern impersonality of the law, the elderly trio is temporarily subdued, but ultimately triumphant.
