Blindspot
Author(s):
Nancy Pahl Gilsenan
The story begins with two spirited spinster sisters who conceal their poverty by explaining that they have to save their money to buy a high-speed Porsche. A niece doing a project for a sociology course appears with a blind and retarded child whom she has to leave with the sisters for a few days. Unlike the others who have dealt with the boy, the sisters have no blindspot concerning his condition and they make contact with the person behind the problem. It's a thrilling development but, unfortunately, they must deal with the blindspot in others.
