King Franz and Queen Valentina are about to lose their lands to the unscrupulous Arch-Duke Abelard and Baroness Gretchen Von Grossmier. The King's niece, Babriela De Barbanzo, arrives to help them and their quintuplet princesses raise the mortgage money by midnight Saturday. Discovering that the princesses play a game they call "hoop-ball" and never miss the hoop, Gabriela arranges a media blitz pitting them against the world champions in basketball. At the same time, she discovers why the Duke and Baroness are after the King's land: the castle is practically floating on a huge oil deposit.
