The Soap Opera Life of King Kong
Author(s):
Bill Majeski
Radio writers Rhoda and Judy are having problems with their soap opera, "The World We Love In." Ratings are falling, and the station manager warns them they must do something. "Maybe itís the characters," says the manager. "We need something big." And what could be bigger than the all-time, all-American monster King Kong? So Kong is written into the show as a new college hero. The ape is an initial success, but then the fickle audience turns against him, claiming that Kong is being victimized. The problem is eventually solved with a surprise ending that will keep your audience laughing right up to the closing curtain.
