Get out the "laugh" preservers for this rollicking musical that takes place on a wacky cruise ship. The vessel is a converted gunboat manned with a crew of rejects from Maritime High School. Along for a voyage of wild fun and zesty tunes are a seasick engineer, a young and ambitious captain, a gung-ho nurse and a trio of girl singers who are passing themselves off as a famous show biz act. And the passengers? Having a whale of a time is a fabulous Hollywood star, a pair of eccentric elderly ladies and a clumsy pair of pirates. Everybody gets a chance to sing rollicking songs in this unsinkable comedy. (Also available as a non-musical.)
