The Fig Connection
Author(s):
Jon Franzen
Kathy Siebert
In this wild espionage spoof, the Russians are out to capture the English scientist, Sir Isaac Newton, who is about to invent a secret weapon—"gravity!" "The apples are in the tree tonight and you'll be up a tree if you miss the Fig Connection," mumbles a mysterious-looking character in a trench coat. It appears that Russian spies have infiltrated London in order to locate Newton's hidden laboratory. The action that follows is fast and furious as six Russian spies, Doc, a mysterious Mr. Big and the beautiful but deadly Sonya consider every conceivable plan to get hold of Newton's secret. A fast-moving play that deals with no moral dilemmas or social issues. One int. set.
