A drama teacher has announced tryouts for the senior play. An old man, a former custodian, appears and warns her that the play must not be given. The ghost of a student will prevent it. As the old man becomes angry and threatening, Joyce realizes that her life may be in danger. A student, the regular custodian and a doctor from a nearby nursing home arrive. The old man is taken away. Joyce relaxes and resumes her plans for the show. In an unforeseen reversal, danger looms again with overtones of the unearthly. Bare stage w/props.
