This is a fantasy that has a special warmth all its own. The story tells of an angel assigned to Earth to help people in desperate difficulties. Her first encounter is with a despondent young man who feels he was responsible for the death of his sweetheart in an auto accident. Even the angel is stumped when the young man insists that his girl be taken from Heaven and returned to him. About this time a friendly homeless man, by the name of Pete, lends a hand in finding a solution. In the closing seconds of the play it is revealed that the philosophical hobo is, indeed, Saint Peter, also on an earthly jaunt.
