The Lion Who Lost His Roar
Author(s):
Betty Langdon
Cha-Cha-Cha, the lion, persuades some children to unlock his cage. He asks for directions to the nearest hunting preserve. The children tell him that school is the place to find out the answers to hard questions like that. School turns out to be a pretty dangerous place for a lion, and the king of the forest decides that freedom is a lot more work and responsibility than it looks like from inside a cage. Area staging.
