A young businesswoman causes an old Russian man, Vladimir, and his wife, Nina, to disclose the secrets they have hidden since leaving their country years ago. Jane Talbot has been sent to explain that the old farmhouse where the Russian couple have been allowed to live, almost in poverty, has been sold.
