The young king of Caladar will lose his throne to his dour Chancellor unless he's married by his 21st birthday (tomorrow!). His beloved Vanessa has vanished. The Jolly Jesters, assisted by Paprika, lady-in-waiting, discover that the Chancellor is a wizard and, urged by daughter Obnoxia, has transformed Vanessa into a unicorn until the king has safely recited his marriage vows. The king decides to marry anyone to keep the Chancellor from the throne, when he overhears him plotting to poison the jesters. Minutes before midnight, the unicorn is magically transformed back to the lovely Vanessa, the wizard is punished and the jesters are promoted to chancellors. This show comes with three fully scored songs in each playbook for optional use.
