Man Of The House
Author(s):
Robert Alan Blair
Remember the old detective movies with the theme, "Crime Doesn't Pay"? None of them put the criminal through these hilarious circumstances! When a slick, stylish safecracker breaks into the house of the vacationing Mason family, he confronts problems he never had to deal with. While he is busy with the wall safe, Mr. Mason's niece arrives with her confused fiance and mistakes the burglar for her uncle. He is then interrupted by another unannounced arrival and then still another. Soon our surprised burglar is in the middle of a heated family squabble, acting as marriage counselor and psychologist to an entire crew of crazies! The lines fairly crackle with wit and humor, and the role of the burglar provides a fine showcase for the comedic talents of any actor.
