What Women Want Most
Based on a story by Chaucer. Author(s):
Thomas Hatton
King Arthur has a ticklish problem. One of his best knights, Sir Harold Pendragon, is guilty of the heinous crime of stealing a kiss from a noble maiden and the penalty is death. Queen Guenivere asks that the knight be placed in her power. When the king agrees, Guenivere tells Sir Harold that if he can correctly answer her question, "What is it that women want most?" he may go free. There's a surprising conclusion, as in the original story by Chaucer. Area staging.
