In the day room of a mental institution, six women are absorbed in card playing, macramé weaving and picture pasting. Through these simple activities their instabilities and past lives are revealed. A nurse enters the room, and inexplicably the women vent all their anger on her. Here is a powerful drama with superb roles for an all-female cast. (This play may include dialogue and/or subject matter that is too mature for cast and audience.)
