Let It Rain
Author(s):
David W. Christner
In the beginning of this hilarious show, the Lord appears in a three-piece suit. He beckons to His harried assistant Gabe, who wears a flowing white robe and dark sneakers. He looks down upon the modern mess which, in His glory, He has created and says, "Gabe... mandammit...they've gone too far. It's time... to start again." He orders the nervous Gabe to find Him one good man who can prepare an ark and gather upon it his good family and two of every kind of animal on earth. To the Lord's consternation, Gabe's computer locates Doctor Harry Adams, a good man and an even better psychiatrist, who is firmly convinced that God suffers from delusions of grandeur. As the rains come, Dr. Adams turns out to be even better than God suspected. (To produce this show, no ark is required!) Series of platforms.
