Director's Notes for Ragtime

this play was done in a high school in Syracuse New York.
the youngest actor was 5 years old and was entering kindergarten the same year as the play.
the director of the play, Leonard Fonte, was retiring from the high school after 33 years of teaching English, and 17 years of directing plays.
the cast included 55 children ranging from 9th to 12th grade.
the play was amazing and i think everybody should get a chance to either see, or perform in this play.
