Director's Notes for Ten Ways to Abuse an Old Woman

I directed this play for the Sears Drama Festival in 1997. The set design was minimalist, monochromatic, and highly symbolic. Risers were in the shape of butterfly wings with a cocoon in the centre. I recall we had to fight our highs school administration because they were concerned about the title of the play. We had to present to the parent/teacher committee. We won and the production was excellent.
